The Portsmouth International Kite Festival arranged by Gill and Jon Bloom was held on 12th and 13th September 2026 on Southsea Common.
What a fabulous way to spend our last festival weekend for this year. Yes there are amazing kites in the sky but what makes it special for us are the people we meet on the field. This weekend there has been so many inspiring conversations, knowledge sharing, the odd tear and lots and lots of laughter!
One of the highlights of the weekend was the finale of a mass launch of Delta Serpents. Many thanks to those who we called upon to help fly ours.
