The Oostende (Ostend) International Kite Festival was held on Oostende beach in Belgium on 11th and 12th May 2013. This was the first visit to this kite festival and I’m sure not the last. The organisers couldn’t have been more welcoming and a great display was put on by all flyers especially given the challenging windy conditions. Thanks to Bryn Baggaley for inviting me to join him for a really enjoyable trip.
