The kite display of the Bedford Kite & Motoring Festival took place in Russell Park, Bedford on 21st and 22nd June 2025 and was organised by Malcolm and Jeanette Goodman. Another scorching weekend in Bedford saw very little wind on Saturday and very gusty conditions on the Sunday. It’s always the fliers that makes this an event we love to return too, albeit it’s now held every two years. Despite the conditions we were able to fly a number of our sparred kites and even our maxi whale towards the end of the festival which was much appreciated by the public.
