The Wirral International Kite Festival was held at New Brighton on Saturday 6th June and Sunday 7th June 2009. Yet another great Wirral festival with a mix of international and UK fliers. An Edwardian kite competition was held over the weekend with points given for stability, angle, etc. The weather was testing – damp and very windy but everyone enjoyed themselves.
