The kite display of the Bedford Kite & Motoring Festival took place in Russell Park, Bedford on 24th and 25th June 2023 and was organised by Malcolm and Jeanette Goodman. This was the first time back to Bedford since before the pandemic and included some flyers who have experienced this site before as well as newly invited flyers. As they found out the wind can be challenging given the arena is surrounded by tall trees. Added to this we also faced some pretty hot temperatures over the weekend. In saying that everyone just got on with it and put on a great display with a wide variety of kites being seen across the two days. This continues to be one of our favourite events.
