We spent a week in the caravan at the beginning of June 2021 taking a few kites with us. Doug and Linda Richardson have their caravan at the same site so it was great to catch up and go down to the local beach to fly. I was particularly happy to say the Where’s Wally pilot and the Maple Leaf flew first time straight out of the bag with no adjustments after me building them. Also I’d replaced the black ripstop with white at the back of the panda’s head. The black had made the face appear grey so it was good to see a far better glow on the face instead. It was also the first time flying new-to-us Tracey, the maxi PL Trilobite, plus the two kites we won in a charity auction made by Karin and Rogers Stevens. Not only did they look great but they were so steady we could literally stand next to each other when flying them.
