The Bedford International Kite Festival took place in Russell Park, Bedford on 6th and 7th June 2015. It was our wedding anniversary on the Saturday so we had extra reason to enjoy ourselves. It turned out to be another really enjoyable festival with a good variety of (mainly sticked) kites being flown. Russell Park is renowned for difficult flying conditions. Saturday had gusty and reasonably strong wind although Sunday saw less blowy conditions which meant some kites struggled to stay up for long periods. Still that meant that the selection on display was wider for the public to enjoy.
