With other commitments during August (namely the Hatchling) we were only able to get to Huttoft for the first and last weekends in the month. For our first visit, we had a couple of evenings where the lack of wind meant enjoying flying some sparred kites. We did get to fly our newly finished Jac kites made from kits available through Wolfgang Schimmelpfennig. Later on that month we had some stronger and smoother winds coming over the sea and we were able to get our stack of owls up plus a mouse which added to the display. I’d rebridled Wally so give him an airing and with a few adjustments he flew nicely. Sarah particularly loved flying the Nick James Angel in memory of his sad passing as few days before.
