The Scarborough Castle Kite Festival took place on 25th/26th/27th May 2019 and was hosted by English Heritage and organised by Pauline Taylor and the Infinite Arts team. The really tricky winds were back again this year. Saturday morning might have started off well as did the Monday afternoon but in-between the strong winds and gusts caused havoc for all the fliers. The problem with flying at this location is that the wind can blow up all three cliffs and meet in the middle causing all sorts of fun and games. Still the company was great as was all sharing the local youth hostel. It has to be said that there’s some really great cooks amongst the invited fliers.
