The Festival of the Sky was held in Cleethorpes on 7th and 8th September 2019 with the kite flying organised by Malcolm Goodman. It was a weekend full on entertainment around the town including a kite display on the beach. It’s been 12 years since we last flew there and the lack of dry sand hadn’t changed. Therefore only a handful of invited fliers could attend who I have to say put on a great display across the two days with Saturday being particularly windy. Whilst this clashed with another event, we have to say that we really had a great time at Cleethorpes and certainly enjoyed the event. Looking forward to hopefully doing it again next year.
