The Catch the Wind Festival was held in Morecambe on 24th and 25th June 2017. What a superb weekend of flying! We got down to the beach on Saturday morning and were able to fly for about an hour before the tide rushed in and took the beach away. It didn’t stop Craig though who dressed up in his wetsuit to fly his scuba diver and Wallace and Gromit kite from the sea much to the visitors delight! It was a good decent wind off the sea on both days which enabled everyone to put on a good show. As the tide came in on Sunday Sarah had great fun paddling whilst flying our new-to-us Rolf Zimmermann Octopus kite by hand. We would like to thank the organisers and fellow flyers for a fantastic weekend. Roll on the next one!
