The Middleton Park Kite Festival was held in Leeds on 21st/22nd May 2016 and was organised by the Friends of Middleton Park and NKG. This is our closest festival being only 3 miles down the road. Weather wise Saturday was rather mixed with some rain and gusty winds. Sunday saw much lighter winds and was much sunnier until a torrential downpour just as we packed up. The location has a very large grass area but is a bit of a walk for the public to come to find us. We certainly enjoyed ourselves again and I believe the local organisers were happy as well.
