The Middleton Park Kite Festival was held in Leeds on 13th September 2015 and was organised by the Friends of Middleton Park and NKG. This was a location local for us – in fact the kites could just be seen from our house. The wind was light early in the day but picked up slightly in the afternoon. It was a tiring day trying to keep the kites in the sky. Unfortunately it was also an expensive day for us as our lifter line got cut and it ended up caught at the top of a very tall tree!! The good news was that we got to fly our new maxi teddy. It would be great if this event becomes a regular in our calendar!!
