The Big Sky International Kite Festival was held on Margate beach on 19th/20th September 2009. This was the first time we attended this festival organised by Gill and Jon Bloom of the Kite Society of Great Britain. What an excellent event. It might have been a long journey there and back but it was well worth it. There was a great list of international fliers with some really excellent kites on display. Such a friendly festival.
