This festival took place in the grounds of Harewood House in Yorkshire on 17th/18th May 2008. Unlike last year’s festival, this one took place on the North Lawn of the House which meant that the lack of clean wind would always be a problem due to the surrounding trees. Saturday, damp at times, saw the better winds although those only came mid-afternoon. Everybody really struggled on the Sunday with, at times, wind varying up to zero mph. Still when kites did get up in the air, the stately home gave them a great backdrop to fly near.
